When I embedded the 3Cs (care, curiosity, connection) to incorporate writing across the 5Es (inquiry), writing assignments stopped being something I dreaded and became something I looked forward to!
Before I made this change,
😖Students were worried about turning in their assignment and getting it wrong
😖Only about 25% of the class would turn in writing assignments
😖I was stressed out trying to figure out how to help students improve their writing
