End of the Year Science Class Project for Middle & High School

$7.00

(Get access to all of these resources + all of my other teaching resources when you join The Lab!)

The end of the year is our time to show students how science matters to them!!! Help students see the relevancy of science in their lives with this final project! Students explore their interests, current events, or other phenomena and connect it to what they've learned in class all year.

Students LOVE this project because they get to study something they're interested in, and it helps them make sense of the practical applications of science.

Formatted as an editable google slides that can be printed if your students need paper copies!

This student led project encourages students to make connections across multiple units, explore their creativity, and practice communicating about science.

Students can work individually and in groups to research background information about their topic and create a model illustrating how their topic connects to what you've been doing in class all year. Have students make a copy of this presentation to keep track of their research and planning!

This resource is perfect for when state tests are over, but you have weeks of school left and you're not trying to debate which movie to watch everyday. Students will interact with multiple topics and NGSS scientific practices.
